Band and Singers Schedule - Summer 2014

Hello All ~

I have completed and attached the schedule for June, July, and August for singers and band members. The song set schedule will be following within the next week or so. I had scheduled through June 1 (including song sets) in the last schedule, so we have a little bit of breathing room!

You'll notice that there are several date where we have a "different" service planned that won't include our normal band/singers leading worship - enjoy that break, but don't take a break from being with your Hope family! We still have the opportunity to support our teens and kid's ministry by sitting on the other side of the stage and being an encouragement to them.

There is one significant update which will apply to everyone who is scheduled for worship on 8/17 - including sound and words team. We will be having rehearsal on TUESDAY, 8/12 at 7:00pm for that weekend - there will NOT be a Saturday night practice on 8/16. IF you are scheduled and can not make a Tuesday night rehearsal, PLEASE let me know right away and I'll do what I can to switch it up. Brian Ott and Jim - for sound and words, keep this change in mind as you schedule your teams.

I am happy to have some new team members on the schedule this quarter as well! Most of you have either met or already know these folks, but please encourage them in the process of fitting into our routine and our team! Our new singers are Bob Kerr, Ron Patterson, and Amy Fleck. Also, Alex Kearney is joining the drummers team and Dylan Ott will be adding his acoustic guitar a couple of times over the summer in preparation for joining the band "full on" in the near future!

What a huge encouragement to have our team expanding! God is so good to remind us that He is most definitely at work at Hope - even when it feels like nothing is happening. Please keep each other lifted up in prayer as the Lord brings one another to mind....what a privilege to carry each others burdens to the throne room of God!

Lastly, pray for Glenn and Liz as they are moving on from Hope. We will certainly miss them and we'll miss Glenn's awesome chops on the drums and percussion, but we'll trust God's leading in their lives. I'm so thankful for the time Glenn served the Lord through the worship ministry here at Hope. Also, just a reminder to keep Frank Caranci in your prayers as he is finishing up his treatments in the next few weeks - it'll be a huge answer to prayer to see him regain his strength and even get back to drumming with us again!
