Hello All!!
I have attached the song schedule through November - finally! You'll notice that there are 2 new songs we'll be rehearsing and introducing this quarter - we have already introduced the chorus of one (Your Great Name) so it's probably familiar to all of you. The other is called God is Able and the YA team will be introducing it in October. You'll also notice that we are including some choruses of new songs as segues (piano led) in this quarter.
All of these links are on the music blog spot (www.hcfmusic.blogspot.com) so please use them to become familiar with the songs and to learn the lyrics and feel. I have noted where we are changing the key and of course, we may adjust the map of the song to fit us, but overall, these links are the most helpful way of preparing.
I have also started sending out the PDF files for the song set to the band members. You can print these out and use them as is, or compare them (chords and map) to the chord charts you already have and make adjustments or corrections. I also want to remind our band members that there are dozens of youtube tutorials of all the songs we do regularly - including the new stuff. These can be a HUGE help in being prepared for Saturday night rehearsals and an awesome way of serving the band and vocalists!
