Hello Team!
All musicians who are NOT involved in a closing song are welcome to leave following the song set of the 2nd service. All tech people will need to stay for the totality of both services. (You can follow up with Brian Ott, Rick Mounce, or myself with any questions on that).
I've attached the Band and Singers Schedule for March through May so you can mark your calendars when you're scheduled, or go to the blogspot where you will find the schedule and lots more. If you haven't been using it, it's a really great way to easily access the quarterly emails, schedules (band, singers, media, and sound team), song sets, and song links. (hcfmusic.blogspot.com) Please note that there is ONE change in the normal Saturday night rehearsal for the weekend of 3/22. That weekend is the Teen Service, but it should be noted for words and sound ministry - as well as the coffee team, if applicable!
Let's continue to keep one another in prayer - lots of stuff going on that we don't always get to share. So look for ways to touch base and listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to reach out as you can! There's no question that God is at work in so many lives at Hope, so naturally we'll come under attack of discouragement, feeling overwhelmed or alone, or even seeing the busyness of life try to steal our joy and scream for attention. Staying in the Word of God and connected to His church are great ways to stay encouraged and to encourage each other!
It's exciting to be starting the 9 and 11 o'clock services on March 1st, but we all know that will come with some sacrifice. Again, an opportunity to depend on God's strength and His leading. A brief reminder of what the weekend will look like if you are scheduled in the music ministry:
Saturday 5:00 -7:00 pm - Rehearsal/Sound check for special music
Sunday 8:15 am - Sound check/Warm up
8:40 am - Prayer Huddle
9:00 am - 1st Service
11:00 am - 2nd Service

I think that's it for now! I'll be emailing and posting the Song Schedule on the blogspot within the next couple of weeks so be looking for that as well.
