Quarterly Email - Fall 2016

Hey All ~

Attached is the schedule for Sept - Nov for the band and vocalists! Here's hoping that I have everything correct as far as availability for each of you. Please do me a favor and check it right away so that you can let me know if I overlooked something or you see an error in what I have scheduled! You'll notice that I scheduled all the way into December since there's only ONE week of "corporate worship" in the month. There'll be plenty of worship with the Christmas cantata, Kid's program, and our Christmas Service but it won't be the "normal" set up for worship. (Sound team and words team - you'll be contacted about what is needed regarding special rehearsals, etc. as we get further into the quarter).

Also, you'll notice from the schedule that I didn't assign anyone to lead devotions for this quarter. I am actually going to be sharing from a book called "Oh, Grow Up! The Everyday Miracle of Becoming More Like Jesus" by Tom Kraeuter. We'll still share our thoughts and pray together but for this quarter I'll take the lead! Thanks to all of you who have blessed us over the past years with leading devotions from Psalms and Proverbs!

I'm also including another reminder that we are having a mid-week rehearsal for the weekend of Oct.2nd so there is NO Saturday night rehearsal. This info plus date/time for practice was on my 'Availability Email' and is included on all the blogspot schedules. If you are on for that weekend, please note this change!

Rick - I'll get the Words Team schedule posted as soon as you have it ready.

EVERYONE - Keep you eyes and ears out for someone who may be interested in joining Rick's team! We are down to 3 guys again (Pam had to step out because of a Saturday night commitment) and it would be such a blessing to have at least 4 folks on that rotation. Maybe a spouse of someone on this team? Or an older teen or young adult related or connected to one of you? Please pray that we can fill that need and maybe expand to 5 people in that area of this ministry!

Eric - thank you so much for getting the schedule together for the Sound Team! It has been posted to the blogspot and I've printed both that schedule and the Band & Singers Schedule to the bulletin board in the sound booth for reference!

I'm really looking forward to the Leadworship Workshop with Paul Baloche this fall - I know everyone who goes will be an even stronger part of the team. It'll be a great time to dig a little deeper into the callings and abilities we have so that we grow as "worshippers" as well as those leading worship at Hope! Please let me know if you still want to attend and I'll get you registered right away - I know registration is closing soon!
