Hey All ~
Happy New Year!! Can you believe it?!?! Praying that each of you have had a happy holiday season and that you are ready to roll into the new year and all God has in store for 2017!
I wanted to let you know that the song sets for January and February have been uploaded to the blogspot and you can find them all www.hcfmusic.blogspot.com. (I have already sent out and posted the Band & Singers Schedule).
You'll notice that I did a little "refresh" to the site which makes me happy when I look at it -- this may not be everyone's response, but as for me, I like it! This may also be the result of living with a college student who has been knee deep in game design, graphics, etc, and has inspired me to more than just black and white! ☺
In any case, the function of the site is the same and I'll be posting everything there. If you scroll over to "SONG LINKS" you'll find a new posting of several songs I'm looking to introduce to Hope in the coming year. This list isn't comprehensive and we may find that we don't end up doing everything from this list, but it's a start and I would encourage ALL of you to be listening to these songs....at the very least, they are a wonderful source of encouragement and packed with the truth and promises of our great God!
Also, when you open the Song Schedule, please note the highlighted information. Mostly, we're just adjusting the key a little to fit the tone of the set better. Don't be caught unprepared on those!
As a reminder: On the weeks you are scheduled you will be receiving emails from me. If you are a vocalist or band member, you'll receive the chord charts on Mondays and the Cheat Charts on Thursdays. If you are in the tech booth, you'll receive the Cheat Charts on Thursdays. IF you do not receive those emails, PLEASE contact me prior to rehearsal on Saturday nights - that way we can avoid misinformation on chord charts, or changes in the song set, etc.
If there is a switch on the tech team, I always appreciate a 'heads up' so that I am sending the emails for the week to the correct folks - thanks for keeping me in the loop on that!
I think that's it for now! Thanks to all of you for all you do on this team! Happy 2017 and I'll see you on Sunday!
Dana
